Congresswomen Cynthia Axne (D-IA-03) and Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA-03) have introduced the Jack Reynolds Memorial Medigap Expansion Act (H.R. 1676) in honor of founding DPC Board member and longest-serving president Jack Reynolds. The bill, which was originally introduced last year, would expand Medigap coverage for patients under 65 who suffer from End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).
The recent introduction of this important legislation as a stand-alone bill, means now is the ideal time to urge your legislators to add their names as co-sponsors. This change in policy was previously included as part of a bigger bill. Help us continue to build momentum by taking action today!
