ASK THE NEBRASKA LEGISLATURE TO SUPPORT LB 32 TODAY

If you’re an under-age 65 kidney disease patient or a family member, you know how difficult it can be to keep financially above water, juggling how to pay for rent, food, and out-of-pocket medical expenses. You may have tried to get on the kidney transplant wait list only to be told that you need secondary health insurance to qualify for transplant.

There’s a bill in the Nebraska Legislature that would help ease these financial burdens and provide access to kidney transplant for under age-65 kidney failure patients. LB 32 would provide affordable access to Medicare Supplement Insurance coverage, also known as Medigap.

Help us get this legislation passed by telling the Nebraska Banking, Commerce, and Insurance Committee to vote to pass LB 32 out of the committee ASAP.
